Join us on June 20th in running a remote 5K on the Longest Day, in support of the Alzheimer's Association!
You choose your starting line and starting time - whether it's on a treadmill or a neighborhood street, get out and run 3.1 miles and together, we'll raise funds and awareness for Alzheimer's care, support and research.
I never had the opportunity to meet her grandfather Howard Korns, he lost his battle with early onset Alzheimer's before she was born. The longest day holds even more significance for me and my family as it was also the day that Howard passed. This year we are thrilled to be taking part in the longest day - despite social distancing, we know that we can make this a great day and event!
I'd like to encourage you to join our team and participate. I'd also like to encourage everyone participating to track your run on your phone or smart watch and share the results here on our goal wall. Upload your times, maps or your run, photos, etc. here.
If you have a goal time, I encourage you to post that too. Let's make this a fun, memorable and encouraging experience for all!
